For the Bekyir/Stevens Family, space was a huge issue for their growing family. With their son and daughter sharing a bedroom and a baby on the way, the family desired more space and privacy. Their current housing had some additional concerns, such as mold, drafty windows and doors that were concerning for the health of their children.
The Bekyir/Stevens Family will be owning our 108th home on Locust Street in Green Bay. This home also marks our first Legacy Build in honor of a dedicated volunteer and advocate, Patrick Costello. The Costello Family is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build this home in memory of their father, which is just blocks from where Patrick's widow Sue still resides. Any donation makes a difference, and we thank you for supporting the Costello Family.
My family is excited to have our own home! My dream has always been to provide a home for our children with a safe neighborhood for them to play in. I am looking forward to being able to host extended family for Thanksgiving and Christmas."
