The Doxtater family came to Habitat for Humanity with one goal: to establish roots in the Green Bay community. The family has moved frequently between apartments and longed for something more permanent. They faced overcrowding, structural issues and a lack of security. These issues, and constantly moving between apartments was causing a strain on the family.
This is what led the Doxtater Family to apply for Habitat’s Homeownership Program. The family desires a safe and secure environment that is all their own.
Construction on this home began June 2016 and was dedicated September 29, 2016.
“My goal for being a homeowner is to be a role model for my family and loved ones. I want them to know that no matter what life throws at you there is always opportunity.”
