Prior to being accepted, the Gazella family was living in a small apartment that didn't have enough space for her and her children. The family desired a home of their own so they no longer have to deal with the lack of space. There were also some other concerns with the rental, such as mold, drafty windows, leaking furnace and poor ventilation to name a few.
This is what led the Gazella family to apply for Habitat’s Homeownership Program. The family looks forward to having the space and sense of security a Habitat home will bring. Their dream of home ownership will finally become a reality.
Construction on this home began August 2016 and was dedicated November 10, 2016.
Home ownership has always been a dream of mine. As a parent I have always wanted to provide my children with a home; a place that we could call our own. Now with the help of Habitat for Humanity, I am finally able to give my children the home they deserve.”
