Artists and Community Members Needed for Repurpose for a Reason

Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity and the ReStore are looking for artists, do-it-yourself aficionados, and crafty community members to contribute items to Repurpose for a Reason.

Repurpose for a Reason, a fundraiser benefitting the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity, features hors d’oeuvres, craft beer, raffle items, live music, and a silent auction. The event will be held on Thursday, November 1 from 6-8 p.m.
 
The highlight of the event, the silent auction, consists of repurposed, refurbished, or art-based items that have been created by artists and community members. Many of the items feature treasures that were found at the ReStore.
 
Interested in channeling your creativity? There are two ways to contribute an item:

1. Create an item on your own and donate it to the event to be auctioned off
2. “Check out” a piece from the ReStore valued up to $70, repurpose it, then return the item to be auctioned off

Finished items must have a minimum value of $40 and can be dropped at the ReStore from October 13-27 during business hours.
