Since July, Natalie has successfully planned two Interactive Culinary Events, worked with the marketing team on an end-of-year appeal and spring stewardship campaign, sat down for conversations with countless community members, donors, and perspective donors, and the list goes on.

Habitat for Humanity makes it fast and easy to donate a vehicle, and by doing so, you may qualify for a tax deduction. Vehicle donations to Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the United States have raised over $72 million just in the last five years! Your vehicle will be sold on behalf of Habitat through a national network of auctions and direct buyers. Since launching Cars for Homes in 2005, Habitat for Humanity has accepted over 160,000 vehicles for reselling or recycling, raising funds for Habitat to partner with local families to build stability and security that a safe, affordable home allows. I could not believe I could donate my junk car and help Habitat for Humanity. It had been in an accident, but you still towed my car away quickly and easily!

What is your favorite part about working with Habitat? In other words, what is your why? My favorite part about working for Habitat for Humanity is the ability to get involved in the community I live in. I spent four years in La Crosse for college and after I left, I realized I completely neglected the city. But working with all the volunteers, hearing their stories, and meeting the customers and donors, I feel like I'm part of the community rather than just living in the city. |
