Your vehicle will be sold on behalf of Habitat through a national network of auctions and direct buyers. Since launching Cars for Homes in 2005, Habitat for Humanity has accepted over 160,000 vehicles for reselling or recycling, raising funds for Habitat to partner with local families to build stability and security that a safe, affordable home allows. I could not believe I could donate my junk car and help Habitat for Humanity. It had been in an accident, but you still towed my car away quickly and easily! 
Their question was answered in a special way when Jessica Diederich, CEO of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity, took them on a trip to the local hardware store. There, the boys saw firsthand how their donation translated into tangible tools and materials for the Habitat build, including 3" framing nails, carpenter pencils, and tape measures. Their eyes lit up with joy as they realized that their summer efforts helped build a home for a family in need.
