Green Bay Habitat Blog

Faces of Habitat: Meet Natalie

4/24/2026

Faces of Habitat is our ongoing blog series where we shine a light on the amazing people who make Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity what it is.

This month, we're featuring Natalie, our Philanthropy Director.

Natalie has been with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity since July 2025, and in that short amount of time, she has made a significant impact on the organization. It's honestly hard to believe she hasn't been working with us for years!

Since July, Natalie has successfully planned two Interactive Culinary Events, worked with the marketing team on an end-of-year appeal and spring stewardship campaign, sat down for conversations with countless community members, donors, and perspective donors, and the list goes on.

Keep reading to learn what fuels Natalie both in and out of the office!
What is your favorite part about working with Habitat? In other words, what is your why?

My personal why is: “Nurturing and cultivating relationships by serving and leading others so that they may find their place and purpose.” Habitat embodies everything I have sought in a place of employment. Here, I am able to use my skills to serve those in need of safe and affordable housing while working alongside a mission‑driven team. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role as Philanthropy Director is connecting with the dedicated and generous community members who make our mission possible. Hearing their own whys and the reasons they choose to support Habitat continually reinforces my passion for this organization and the impact we create together.

What is one moment that stands out from your time at Habitat?

I have two favorite memories that I cannot choose between. The first is seeing Habitat Homestead for the very first time. I will never forget pulling up and feeling full‑body goosebumps. The community this organization built on that plot of land is truly remarkable, and watching the (now) homeowners walk down that street during our Block Party will always be a professional moment I treasure.

The second memory happened on my third day at Habitat, when a homeowner came in to make her final mortgage payment. I overheard her say, “If you would have told me years ago, I would be doing this, I would have never believed you. I would not be here without Habitat.” That moment captured the true impact of our mission and has stayed with me ever since.

What is something you love to do when you're not at work?

I love to bake, cook, stay active especially with our new puppy, and travel.

Just for fun: if you could instantly become an expert at anything, what would it be?

Baking!
