Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity was recently recognized for our transparency with a 2018 Gold Seal on our GuideStar Nonprofit Profile.
GuideStar is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. More than 8 million visitors per year and a network of 200+ partners use GuideStar data to grow support for nonprofits. Only three percent of registered nonprofits hold a GuideStar Seal of Transparency of any level (bronze, silver, gold, or platinum). In order to get the 2018 Gold Seal, Habitat shared important information with the public using our profile on www.guidestar.org. Now our community members and potential donors can find in-depth information about our goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress. Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations (HFH) will not proselytize. Nor will HFH work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with HFH. This means that HFH will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must (i) adhere to or convert to a particular faith or (ii) listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith. |
