GIVE THE GIFT OF AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP

homes, communities, and hope

For so long, our community has supported Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. Every gift has helped provide opportunities for 213 adults and 381 children in Brown County to purchase decent and affordable homes and it is because of donors like you, that those families feel safe at home.

In Wisconsin, 1 in 10 households spends more than half of their income on housing. It doesn’t have to be this way. In Brown County, we are challenged to make sure that the provisions of safe, affordable housing continue long after this point in time.

You have the unique opportunity to change the present and the future for local families. A donation to our organization can make a significant impact toward improving health, financial stability and educational
outcomes through housing far beyond today.

Everyone deserves a decent place to live, and everyone can do something today to help make that possible for another individual or family. Please consider contributing a gift  that will help Greater Green Bay Habitat build decent and affordable homes in Brown County. Your gift will help us build nine new  homes this year in Greater Green Bay that will be sold to hardworking, deserving families.

Greater Green Bay Habitat's impact in Brown County

Since 1987, Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity has been making an impact on the people and families in our community by putting God's love into action and bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Together, we have built 130 homes, served 213 adults/381 children, and we will not stop there. This year, we are planning to build nine new decent, affordable homes in our community and address the challenges faced by those who are cost-burdened.  Building Habitat homes in Brown County helps hardworking families find strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter - and the impact goes beyond the Habitat homeowners! Since 1987, we've added over $13 million dollars to the Brown County Tax Roll and in 2021, our Habitat homeowners paid over $335,000 in property taxes.

My name is Rosa and I have three children. I am a single mother and I have always told my children that we are a team. We are humble, simple and live modestly. As a united family, we have God in our hearts. I am working hard to purchase a Habitat house so my family has more room and a decent and safe place to call home
You too can empower the people in our community when you help Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity build homes in Brown County. A Habitat home is not a handout, and it is not given away for free. Each Habitat home is built with the love and labor from volunteers and Habitat homebuyers who are working on their sweat equity. Once completed, Habitat homes are sold to the individuals and families in the Homeownership Program with an affordable 0% interest mortgage.

When families take that first step into their new home, all the stress and suffering they felt in their previous living situation melts away. Kids get a stable, secure place to play and study. Parents do not stay up at night worrying about how they can afford a decent place to live. Home takes on a whole new meaning for these families.
