We're making it easier than ever to donate from the comfort of your home with two convenient options! For faster service, we've partnered with ReSupply, a veteran-owned company, to provide quick pickups for a small fee. Unlike our standard free pick up service, ReSupply accepts items in any condition. All eligible donations go directly to the Greater Green Bay Habitat ReStore, while remaining items are donated to other charities or responsibly disposed of.

Who Can Donate to the ReStore?

Residential/Individual​
The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations of home goods from individuals and residential homes.
Commercial/Corporate
Businesses across Brown County have utilized the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore as an outlet alternative to the landfill to donate new, leftover and overage materials.

If you are a business with a large volume of merchandize to donate, contact our ReStore at [email protected]. 

Is your business moving, upgrading or remodeling? The ReStore also accepts office furniture such as office chairs with wheels, lobby furniture, break room furniture, file cabinets, and more.
Donation pick-up is FREE in Brown County for residential and commercial donations with a minimum of two (2) bulky items.

What to Donate to ReStore
We accept a variety of items. Please note that the items you can donate are not limited to this list. We reserve the right to turn down any donation upon inspection. 

All donated items should be clean, in working condition, with all parts - no rust, broken parts, or mold. The donation list below is to be used as a guideline only. If you are unsure about your donation, contact the ReStore at (920) 338-1650. A donation of $50 for refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners is required to offset recycling fees and costs that our organization incurs.  

Donated Items Accepted:

Appliances: 
Refrigerator ($50 fee), freezer ($50 fee), air conditioner ($50 fee), stove, microwave, vent hood, washer, dryer, dishwasher aged under 10 years. 

We cannot accept commercial refrigerators. 
New Building Materials
New drywall (4'x4' or 4'x8'), lumber (6' or longer), plywood or OSB (2'x4' or 4'x8'), baseboard trim (6' or longer). All screws and nails must be removed. Mantles (factory painted or stained), columns, framed stained glass, wrought iron stairs, railings, and spindles. 

We cannot accept used deck wood, particle board shelving, gas fireplaces or fireplace inserts. ​
Bathroom  & Plumbing
Sinks, new medicine cabinets, new PVC and metal piping (6' or longer), fixtures, parts, supplies, new shower surrounds, toilets (1.6 GPF or less), bathroom cabinets aged less than 20 years. 

We cannot accept cast iron or jetted tubs, shower doors, unframed mirrors, or water softeners. 

​Doors
Interior (wood and metal, bi-fold, glass), exterior (metal, glass, or storm), hollow-core doors, and sliding patio doors with frame.  Please remove and bag door hardware.

We cannot accept commercial doors, used shower doors, painted doors, mirrored doors or exterior wood doors. No mold can be present. 
New Electrical
Residential and current code only: electrical parts, wire, hardware. 

We cannot accept electronic items (TVs, computers, CD/DVD players, white boards, etc.). Additionally, we cannot accept face plate covers. 
New Flooring, Carpet, and Rugs

New carpet only (rolled, 10'x12' or longer), hardwood, laminate (US-made), and vinyl (8'x6' and larger). Please write size on the back of vinyl and carpet with permanent marker.  

We cannot accept used flooring items such as carpet, carpet pad, laminate, rugs, or vinyl flooring.

Furniture
Chairs, couches and loveseats, dressers, dining tables, futon frames, side tables, coffee tables, bedroom furniture, bed frames, bookshelves, benches, chests, trunks, antique and vintage furniture. Please include all hardware for items. 

We cannot accept box spring mattresses, corner TV stands, futon mattresses, entertainment centers, mattresses, sofa beds, pianos, or organs. Upholstered furniture cannot have any stains, tears, excessive wear, pet damage or odors. 
Hardware
Knobs, hinges, boxes and fasteners (screws, bolts, nails), and locks. Drop-off only.

Home Exterior
New shingles (full bundles), new insulation (bagged or sheets), new gutters. Seasonally accepted April 1 through October 31.

We cannot accept loose insulation or shingles, shutters, new or used siding including Hardie Board, or garage doors. 

​Home Décor 
Art, statues, memorabilia, knickknacks, decorative glassware, framed mirrors, kitchenware, dishes, glasses, bowls, platters, silverware, small appliances (working), and books. 

We cannot accept blinds, curtains, vertical blinds, window coverings, unframed mirror or glass, or textiles. 

Antique & Vintage Items
Furniture, doors, lamps, dressers, nightstands, tables, chairs, coffee tables, dishes, glasses, bowls, serve ware, and  knickknacks. 

Kitchen Cabinets
Cabinets with doors, drawers and hinges attached. Must be aged under 20 years old (stained or painted), sinks (stainless only), new uninstalled laminate countertop, cabinet knobs and other cabinet hardware.

We cannot accept countertops (granite, manufactured or used laminate), or hand-painted cabinets. 

Landscaping, Lawn & Garden
Brick and blocks, (dirt free and not broken. Drop off only), new edging and fencing, lawn or patio furniture, yard tools, planters, yard décor, and working lawn mowers. 

We cannot accept used edging, lose landscape rocks, gas cans, playground equipment, or used grills (charcoal or rusty gas grills). 
Lighting & Fans
Chandeliers, flush moutn fixtures, ceiling fans, sconces (including mounting hardware and lamps), table lamps, and floor lamps.

We cannot accept CFL or halogen light bulbs (new or used), used light bulbs, track lighting,  or fluorescent fixtures or bulbs. 
Office Furniture
Office chairs with wheels, lobby furniture, break room furniture, file cabinets (upright 16" wide). 

We cannot accept build in cabinets, desks, cubical (wall or partitions), conference room tables or electronics. 

Snow Removal Equipment
Shovels, snow blowers, roof rakes, etc. Seasonally accepted November 1 through March 31.
New Tile
Ceramic, slate, porcelain, marble, vinyl plank, luxury vinyl, vinyl commercial tiles (full boxes, unopen, minimum of one box). 

We cannot accept used, lose or partially boxed tile. 
Tools
Power tools, hand tools, aluminum or fiberglass ladders, shop vacs. Tools must have all factory installed safety features.  

We cannot accept recalled items, radial arm saws, homemade tools, or wooden ladders. 
Windows
New, uninstalled windows only. 

We cannot accept previously installed, single pane, fixed pane or storm windows, wood screens, or shutters.

Recycle Your Metal, Build Homes

​If your donation meets the guidelines below
Bring it to 1967 Allouez Avenue during our business hours (Tuesday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Please do not drop off donations after-hours. 
If you donation is too large to fit in your vehicle
We may be able to arrange a pick up. Pick-ups can only be done in Brown County and must be placed in a protected area either in the garage or outside (and covered if possible). Donations must meet the guidelines outlined below and be in good condition. To schedule a donation pickup, click the blue button below to submit your request.
