Donor and Sales Associate, Part-Time

General Job Summary:
The ReStore Donor and Sales Associate will be comfortable moving products (sometimes very heavy products) and will also be comfortable interacting with donors, customers, and volunteers in a positive manner. The position requires the ability to lift and move product that may be 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours/week (3:45-6:15 Tuesday-Friday and 9-5:15 two Saturdays per month); we can be somewhat flexible with these hours

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, including unloading donations and loading purchases into customers’ vehicles
- Greet donors on a regular basis with professionalism and care – provide tax exempt slips to donors per legal guidelines
- Work to keep donation dock and warehouse area safe, orderly, and clean at all times
- Assist with other areas as assigned, including Habitat events at the ReStore

Education Requirement:
- High school diploma (or working towards graduation)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills and pleasant personality with others
- Commitment to Habitat’s mission
- Communicate and engage with donors and customers
- Ability to work independently at times
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires walking and standing for most of the time
- Dependable and solid work history
- Candidate must submit to a drug test and background check
