Teambuilding. Giveback. Impact.
Group volunteering in the Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a great way to engage larger groups of collective individuals. If you have a group of like-minded people that want to get hands-on and give back, considering the ReStore is a fulfilling experience for many. Volunteers will experience a variety of physical tasks
All groups are welcome!
As a group of dedicated volunteers, you collectively contribute to fostering a positive experience for our customers and the community while actively contributing to the success of the ReStore. Operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, your diverse abilities and skills will be utilized to support the physical demands of the retail operation, and keep the fast-pace flow moving seamlessly - maximizing your teambuilding efforts to make a significant impact. The proceeds from ReStore sales directly support our organization's homeownership program, enabling the construction of homes for families in need of safe, decent, and affordable housing. By joining us in this mission, you not only assist Habitat but also forge meaningful friendships with not only your team but also with our existing volunteers.

When you volunteer with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity, your group will have a rewarding and meaningful experience learning about our Homeownership Program and contributing to a tangible outcome through our nonprofit retail outlet, the ReStore. ReStore volunteer days are Monday through Saturday. Group volunteers are invited to volunteer on our construction sites, or in our ReStore. Volunteer opportunities in our ReStore include, and are not limited to:

What volunteer groups need to know before signing up:
Maximum group volunteer size up to four (4) people
To allow each volunteer to gain valuable skills and experience in the ReStore, group volunteering is limited to four (4) people per organization or group. Limiting group sizes to four (4) ensures a safe and enjoyable volunteer experience. If your group is larger than the maximum request, we can offer alternative solutions like multiples shifts, and/or days. Scheduling a Group Volunteer Date
We encourage interested groups to provide as much detail as possible during the inquiry process. Before submitting an inquiry, the group or corporate contact should identify a head count as well as the date of availability for the volunteer service. Once the group or corporate contact has submitted the inquiry, a representative of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity will reach out with the next steps and scheduling. Volunteer Opportunities & What's Included
Whether volunteering on the build site or in the ReStore, Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity will provide all tools and materials necessary to complete the dedicated task(s). Volunteers are required to wear closed toe shoes, and should dress for the conditions or environment they will be working in. |
Volunteer shifts & changes
With the unpredictability of construction, we are not able to solidify what tasks will take place on a specific day. After a group has registered to volunteer, the Volunteer Manager will coordinate final details as the date approaches. ReStore Volunteer Days and Shifts

Pro Tip*
For groups that might have more than four (4) people, you can utilize multiple shifts! While we are limited to group sizes including four (4) people at a time, ask to schedule a shift in the morning and the afternoon, or alternate the days. Alternating shifts or days allows volunteers to experience a variety of opportunities and get to know our nonprofit better!
