For the fifth year, proceeds from the Pi Day 5k Run/Walk will benefit Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity. Each year, the event is organized by fifth graders at Leonardo da Vinci. Sponsorships, registrations, raffles, and race course details are done by a team of altruistic students on a mission to give back to the community. On Thursday, May 2 at 1 p.m., students presented a record-breaking check to Habitat at Leonardo da Vinci (139 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay).
Prior years’ contributions:

Leonardo da Vinci’s very first 5k was held on March 14, 2015, or 3.14.15. Since then, they have stuck to the “Pi Day” theme and host their race as close to that date as possible! The event includes a 5k run/walk, raffles, and a kids’ kupcake run. For more information about Habitat, visit our website www.greenbayhabitat.org. Comments are closed.
